Cagliari, here are the first assaults: German sirens for the young champion

In spite of the crisis at the beginning of 2026, Cagliari managed to save itself by finishing the championship in 14th place with 43 points and the final icing of the victory in the last round against AC Milan at San Siro. A great number of players have grown so much under the guidance of Fabio Pisacane and the first market assaults are already coming.

Among the most talked about players is certainly Adam Obert, author of an excellent season. The young Slovakian defender, according to various rumors, has allegedly ended up in Hamburg’s sights: the club needs to replace Luka Vuskovic (the absolute star of the season that just ended and who will return to Tottenham), and among the profiles sounded out by the German management is Obert’s.

Tommaso Giulini, during the interview granted to Radiolina in the program ‘Il Cagliari in diretta’ was very clear about Obert and the other jewels in the rose: “We know that offers will arrive for Caprile, Obert, Esposito, but also Adopo and Mendy. We will have to be good at keeping as many as possible, we will try not to dismantle. If some important offers come in, however, we will certainly replace the players sold.”

As for Elia Caprile, there are several options: Juventus has been monitoring him for some time to replace the disappointing Michele Di Gregorio, but Aston Villa is also interested. The Inter hypothesis is more complicated: Cristian Chivu has decided to promote Josep Martinez to a starting role in place of Yann Sommer and as a second the Italian champions will make an attempt for Lazio’s Ivan Provedel.
