The final first leg of the Serie C playoffs between Union Brescia and Ascoli will resume Wednesday at 7 p.m., at the “Rigamonti,” after Tuesday night’s 61′ suspension due to bad weather that hit the area and made the field impassable, making the resumption of play in time impossible. Federal regulations govern the resumption of play: it starts again from 16′ of the second half with the score at 1-1, with some particular specifications regarding the men who can take the field.

In the match report, in addition to the goals of the Bianconeri’s Rizzo Pinna at 8 and Crespi’s equalizer at 12′, the cautions of Corradini and D’Uffizi of Ascoli, as well as that of De Maria of Union Brescia, are upheld. Rizzo Pinna himself, however, will not be able to return to the field having been substituted at the start of the second half, as will teammate Gori.

As far as formations are concerned, coaches can still decide to change the starting eleven, but only with players registered and available at the time of the break. Corini can then make five changes following the resumption of play in three different slots, while Tomei can use the two remaining slots to make three more changes in addition to the two already made before the stop.

All other rules remain active: the result will be added to that of the return match, which remains set for Sunday, June 7, at 6 p.m. at the “Del Duca,” and provides for the dispute of extra time and possible penalties in case of an overall tie at the end of 180 minutes, without fifth taking into account what happened in the regular season.
