Vitea Wineries also had their place among the exclusive events connected to the prestigious Cannes Film Festival. On the occasion of the Infinity Fashion Week, Oksana Krutskik organized with great elegance an evening in the refined setting of Le Park Mougins Cannes, where the wines of the winery from Montù Beccaria, in the Pavia region, conquered the guests of the French Riviera.

Standing out in particular was the winery’s classic method, the result of a processing that focuses everything on naturalness. In fact, production does not involve the use of added sugars: each stage of winemaking is based exclusively on ripe grapes, naturally rich in sugars and aromas. Even during the draught, only the sugars present in the grapes, necessary for fermentation in the bottle, are used, while in the final dosage the same wine is added, preserving the authenticity and identity of the product.

The result is a sparkling wine with a strong personality, capable of telling the story of the territory, the vintage and the variety of grapes. In the glass it shows a soft pink with delicate copper reflections and a fine and elegant perlage. Floral aromas and hints of toast, jasmine and strawberry emerge on the nose, while on the palate it stands out for its balance, freshness and refinement.

“Ideal as an aperitif, it also perfectly accompanies risottos and fish dishes. The recommended serving temperature is between 10 and 12 degrees,” told the owner of Cantine Vitea, Antonio Faravelli.
