Olimpia Milano overcame Germani Brescia 93-68 in Game 3 of the LBA playoff semifinals, taking a 2-1 lead in the series. After a balanced first half, the meneghina team took the lead in the second half and won the challenge in complete tranquility: Milan has the chance to close the series in game 4, also scheduled at the Forum on Friday night. Among the best players on the court were Shields (top scorer for Armani with 20 points), Bolmaro (14) and Brooks (12).

Olimpia coach Peppe Poeta first thanked the crowd: “They were fantastic, they cheered us on, they gave us the push we needed in the third quarter to make the break, to break the game.”

Milan’s coach praised especially the defense: “We were very good. In the first two quarters we suffered the central pick and rolls, both with Della Valle, Bilan and Burnell. But in the second half we were better, more physical, with some adjustments and especially a lot of physicality and energy,” are the words reported by Realolimpiamilano.

“That is the energy we will need to beat them again, because they are a tough, smart, very strong team. Let’s file tonight and think about the fourth,” Porta concluded.
