F1 Monaco GP free practice 2: Ferrari dominate the scene in Monte Carlo

Ferrari protagonist in the Friday free practice session of the Formula 1 Monaco Grand Prix. The Maranello stable confirms the forecasts of the eve: the red cars are at ease on the winding Monegasque track and set the first two times also in the second session after dominating the first. Lewis Hamilton stopped the stopwatch on the time of 1:13.026, ahead of teammate Charles Leclerc.
Third place for Max Verstappen (Red Bull), who, thanks to his skill in negotiating the curves of the Principality circuit, managed to put behind the two Mercedes of George Russell and Andrea Kimi Antonelli, the world ranking leader. Away by more than half a second was Hadjar, then Piastri, Hulkenberg and Bortoleto.
In great difficulty was reigning world champion Lando Norris, in a McLaren, just in nineteenth place. Saturday at 12:30 p.m. scheduled the third free practice, while at 4 p.m. official qualifying will be held. Sunday at 3 p.m. the race starts.
