Torino, for the next striker mobilizes Ivan Juric
Among the top 12 teams in the standings, Torino is the one that has scored the least: the granata have scored just 16 goals in 15 games, highlighting some shortcomings in the offensive department. To run for cover, Ivan Juric is mobilizing: according to several rumors, the coach has personally asked some Serbian acquaintances about compatriot Dejan Joveljic.
Born in 1999, he is a modern center forward, decent technically and endowed with an excellent scoring streak. In 2016 he was included in The Guardian’s list of the best sixty footballers born in 1999, while in the summer of 2019 he was listed by UEFA as one of the 50 most promising youngsters for the 2019-2020 season.
Having grown up footballing in Red Star, he moved to Eintracht Frankfurt in the summer of 2019. After playing little in Germany, he was transferred on loan to Anderlecht in January. When the loan ended, he was sold again on a temporary basis, this time to Wolfsberger, then in August 2021 he moved outright to the LA Galaxy. Joveljic has a contract with the star-studded club until 2025 but a new chance to play his cards in Europe and under a Serbian coach might convince him to leave the United States early.
Since he is a profile that Juric likes a lot, should the deal not materialize in January, it could reopen in June.
