2026 World Cup, Group Stage Concluded: Dates and Times for All Round of 16 Matches

The group stage has come to an end. Of the 48 national teams that started the World Cup, 32 remain. Among the most bitter eliminations are certainly those of Uruguay and Scotland (which finished third but were not selected as alternates). Starting today, the Round of 16 kicks off with the South Africa vs. Canada match (9:00 p.m. Italian time).

There are plenty of must-see matches. Brazil vs. Japan is scheduled for June 29. On July 3, Portugal faces Croatia, with CR7 taking on Modric. The Round of 16 wraps up with a matchup between Argentina—led by tournament top scorer Messi (six goals)—and surprise contender Curaçao.
