Niccolò De Vico is Pesaro’s newest player: the red-and-white club itself announced the arrival of the former Fortitudo Bologna player, who will thus remain in A2 by joining the Vuelle. Born in 1994, the 198-centimeter guard has signed a two-year contract with a unilateral buyout clause in favor of the Marche-based club.

“I’m happy and motivated to embark on this adventure in a historic and prestigious city like Pesaro,” De Vico told his new club’s official channels. “As an opponent, I admired the progress VL made last year. Repeating that success won’t be easy, but with the fans’ support, we’ll do everything we can to compete among the best again. I’m ready to put myself at the staff’s disposal and support my teammates, giving my all to honor these colors.”

Pesaro’s sports director, Nicola Egidio, is also pleased with the success of this transfer: “Toughness and a winning mentality are the two main qualities we had in mind when signing De Vico,” he said. “Furthermore, the player’s strong enthusiasm convinced us to move forward with this deal, confident that the upcoming season will be a great opportunity for Niccolò to make a comeback,” he added.

Born in Monza on July 19, 32 years ago, Niccolò De Vico came up through the youth ranks at Forti e Liberi Monza and, later, at Pallacanestro Biella, remaining with the red-and-blue team even as a senior until 2017 (with a stint at Cestistica Biella from 2010 to 2013 in between). He then played for Pallacanestro Reggiana (2017–2019), Vanoli Cremona (2019–2020), Pallacanestro Varese (2020–2021), Basket Torino (2021–2024), New Basket Brindisi (2024–2025), and Fortitudo Bologna (2025–2026).
