No Olisevicius; Reyer on the Hunt for Its Seventh Foreign Player: The Profile

Reyer Venezia is working to finalize its roster: the announcement of the final addition ahead of the 2026-27 season is expected within the next two or three days. The Orogranata are looking for their seventh foreign player, who will play an important role in the EuroCup rotation: following Coach Neven Spahija’s recommendations, the club’s management has outlined the profile of the player they are seeking.

According to La Nuova Venezia, Reyer is looking for an EU player—a versatile small forward who can also play power forward. In recent days, the Venetian daily reports, Umana had been in contact with the agents of Lithuanian player Osvaldas Olisevicius, who has played in Italy for Reggio and Treviso. However, the deal did not move forward due to the club’s concerns about the player’s physical condition, as he suffered an Achilles tendon injury last season.

After renewing his contract, Spahija reaffirmed the team’s ambitions: “This is a very important club that grows every year and can count on extraordinary fans.
