Juventus Transfer Market: Kolo Muani Has Arrived; Now the Dusan Vlahovic Situation Is Back on the Table
Juventus’s summer transfer window has finally taken a turn: Randal Kolo Muani is back in Turin. After weeks of waiting, setbacks, and renewed interest, the French forward received the green light from PSG for the transfer—which will be a permanent move—and completed his medical exam on Saturday morning. This return, strongly desired by both parties, officially opens the second chapter of his story at Juventus.
His arrival, however, does not mark the end of Juventus’s offensive transfer activity, because with Kolo Muani at Continassa, the name that has been at the center of every discussion about the forward line for months—Dusan Vlahovic—is back in the spotlight. The Serbian remains a free agent following the expiration of his contract with Juventus on June 30—almost a paradox for a 26-year-old striker who, despite a difficult season, has tried to make the most of his situation by not being tied to any club. Yet, the offers haven’t taken off.
The most concrete offer came from Turkey: Besiktas, at the direct request of Vincenzo Italiano, put a top-tier player’s package on the table (5 million in signing bonuses and 8 million net per season for two years), but the proposal was rejected—and not just for financial reasons—because Vlahovic isn’t convinced by the coaching philosophy or the prospect of playing in a league like the Turkish one, which is still considered second-tier.
The 2000-born player’s dream remains Barcelona. However, the Blaugrana have already rejected an offer from the player’s agents, both to prioritize Julian Alvarez and because of Vlahovic’s own demands, which are considered excessive in terms of salary and bonuses. According to reports in ‘Sport,’ Vlahovic has convinced his representatives to lower their demands in order to wear the Catalan club’s jersey.
The door at Juventus, however, remains ajar. Luciano Spalletti holds Vlahovic in high regard and would have no problem reintegrating him into the squad, but the club is weighing different priorities. Giovanni Carnevali, who is involved in negotiations for other players, also hinted at this: “Juve had made an offer, and it wasn’t accepted. ‘I don’t chase after players, especially when there are significant offers,’ he stated a few days ago.
Juventus currently has a starting striker (Kolo Muani), a defined technical plan, and a payroll that must be managed carefully. But if there’s one thing fans and insiders have learned over the years, it’s that the transfer market is full of surprises. For Vlahovic, therefore, no option can be ruled out—not even the possibility of a sensational new contract with the Bianconeri.
