Juventus Transfer Market: Progress Made on Joshua Zirkzee

Juventus continues to work on strengthening its offense, and among the names gaining traction is that of Joshua Zirkzee. The Dutch forward, after two seasons at Manchester United that fell short of expectations, is reportedly seriously considering a return to Serie A.

The summer of 2024 marked a major turning point in his career, with his transfer to Old Trafford for over 40 million euros. His Premier League adventure, however, failed to live up to expectations. Struggling to settle in and seeing little playing time, Zirkzee ended his two-year stint with just nine goals and four assists, often spending matches on the bench.

For this very reason, the allure of Italy has grown ever stronger. The former Bologna player, who came up through Bayern Munich’s youth system, would welcome a move to Juventus and has reportedly already let his entourage know that he is open to a transfer to the Bianconeri.

However, the latest news also concerns Manchester United. The English club, while having no intention of selling the player off cheaply, is reportedly open to the possibility of entering into negotiations with Juventus to explore a solution that would satisfy both parties.

Contacts are expected to intensify in the coming days. Juventus management continues to monitor the situation closely, aware that the deal could gain momentum if the right formula is found to convince Manchester United to let the Dutch forward go.
