Donyell Malen Proves Decisive Again, Niccolò Pisilli Puts the Icing on the Cake: Roma Keeps Rolling

Roma defeated Torino 2-0 on the Garnata’s home field in one of Monday’s late matches for Matchday 4 of the 2026-2027 Serie A season. After failing to score against Atalanta and Fenerbahçe, Donyell Malen returned as the Giallorossi’s driving force by netting the opening goal, while Niccolò Pisilli sealed the victory in stoppage time of the second half, securing the three points that allow the team from the capital to maintain a perfect record in the standings.

On the Granata’s home turf, Gian Piero Gasperini’s team dictated the pace of the game from the start: Malen himself came close to scoring with a header in the 10th minute and with a left-footed shot two minutes later, but the Dutchman couldn’t find the net.
