Milan Transfer Market: Three Contract Extensions Are in the Works; Adrien Rabiot Is at the Top of the List

During the break for international matches, clubs have time to focus on other matters as well. At Milan, for example, the club is considering some rather delicate matters, namely the contract extensions for three key players in coach Amorim’s new project.

The three players under consideration are Rabiot, Pulisic, and Pavlovic. The first, an irreplaceable player, is the top priority. The Frenchman has a guaranteed contract with the Rossoneri through June 2028 (at approximately 3.5 million euros per season). The goal is to extend it by two years, bringing it through 2030.

Milan is also working on the Pulisic front. The American’s contract expires at the end of the current season. The Rossoneri’s hope is to reach an agreement to continue working together. Much will depend on Pulisic’s own wishes, as he may also want to explore other options (at the moment, talks between the parties have reportedly not yet begun).

Finally, there is a strong desire to retain Pavlovic as well. The Serbian is under contract with the Rossoneri through June 30, 2028, but there is a firm intention on both sides to continue the relationship in the years to come. There is talk of a proposal from Milan for a three-year contract extension with a salary increase. Currently, the Serbian earns just over 1.5 million per season. The idea would be to try to double his salary (including bonuses).
