The wrestling world is in shock—Pac has died at just 40 years old: he had wrestled just two days earlier

The wrestling world is reeling from the death of Benjamin Satterley, known as Pac, a British wrestler who had been competing in All Elite Wrestling (AEW) since 2019. AEW itself made the announcement, though it did not disclose the cause of death, which occurred on Sunday evening.

“All Elite Wrestling sadly announces the passing of Benjamin Satterley, known as Pac. A native of Newcastle upon Tyne, England, Satterley began his wrestling career in 2004, competing in promotions around the world and winning over fans with his innovative aerial moves and incredible athleticism in the ring.”

“Pac signed with All Elite Wrestling in 2019, winning several AEW titles and competing in some of the most memorable matches in the promotion’s history. Our deepest condolences go out to Satterley’s family, friends, and fans.”

PAC had also previously wrestled in the WWE, where he was known as Neville. The British wrestler had competed in his last match just last Saturday in Chicago, at the All Out event, against Andrade.

Among the first wrestlers to react was former WWE superstar Enzo Amore: “My best friend has passed away; I’m completely in shock. My prayers go out to his wife and family. Ben, I love you. I’ll miss you, Pac; thank you for being a friend.”
