Cyprus and Armenia take the field at 6 p.m. for their match on Matchday 3 of Group 2 in League C of the 2026–2027 Nations League. The Cypriot hosts, after losing their opener to Montenegro, drew their second match against Latvia; the Armenians, on the other hand, have three points thanks to their opening victory over the Baltic team.

Mantzios’s squad is looking for its first win in the competition in front of a home crowd: Pittas is the center forward, with Edwards, Kosti, and Loizou creating chances behind him. The midfield duo consists of Kastanos and Artymatas.

Armenia fields a front three of Sevikyan, Miranyan, and Shaghoyan. In midfield, Iwu partners with Spertsyan, while Bandikyan and Tiknizyan play on the wings. Yegishe’s team has won only one away game in its last fifteen.

Cyprus vs. Armenia: Probable Lineups
Cyprus (4-2-3-1): Fabiano; Pileas, Konomis, Panagiotou, Malekkidis; Artymatas, Kastanos; Edwards, Kosti, Loizou; Pittas. Head Coach: Apostolos Mantzios.
Armenia (3-4-3): Cancarevic; Piloyan, Petrosyan, Harutyunyan; Bandikyan, Iwu, Spertsyan, Tiknizyan; Sevikyan, Miranyan, Shaghoyan. Head Coach: Yegishe Melikyan.

Mantzios, Cyprus’s head coach, had this to say ahead of the match against Armenia: “We’re facing a very strong team that’s technically sound and full of quality players. We have two matches ahead of us, and we want to earn as many points as possible in both. In the previous match, I believe the team didn’t get what it deserved, but unfortunately, in the end, it’s the points that count. We must beat Armenia if we want to keep our hopes alive of achieving the goals we’ve set for ourselves.”
