2026-2027 Nations League: Finland vs. Albania, Probable Lineups

Finland and Albania are battling it out for first place in Group 1 of League C of the 2026-2027 Nations League: the match is scheduled for 3 p.m. in Helsinki. After a convincing victory in their opener against San Marino, the hosts drew at home against Belarus; the Balkan Eagles, on the other hand, are coming off two wins against San Marino and Belarus without conceding a single goal.

Finnish head coach Friis is expected to once again rely on the attacking duo of Pohjanpalo and Marhiev. Hakans and Mahuta will start on the wings, while in midfield, Suhonen will be flanked by Skytta and Walta.

Rolando Maran wants to maintain consistency in his lineup and is expected to once again rely on the attacking trio of Bajrami, Broja, and Uzuni. In midfield, Ramadani is the playmaker, with Asllani and Laci alongside him. The fullbacks are Hysaj and Mitaj.

Albania’s head coach Maran doesn’t want his players to lose focus: “I expect the players who take the field to give their all for the team. We have to be a competitive team; we have to push hard and give more than 100%. I expect that from everyone—I’m lucky enough to have players with these qualities and this level of dedication. When we’ve demonstrated this, we’ve shown more quality than we thought we had. There are players who can play different roles and bring different strengths to the table.”
