Cantine Vitea and the “Golf and Wine 1895” brand are gaining increasing recognition on international markets as well, thanks to the quality of the wines produced by Antonio Faravelli. At Korean Sports Day, held at the Sport Village Sports Center in Assago, just outside Milan, Faravelli’s wines played a prominent role, generating great interest among attendees.

The response from Asian friends and admirers of the winemaker from Montù Beccaria, in the Oltrepò Pavese region, was particularly positive. The Korean community in Italy, in particular, is showing strong interest in Cantine Vitea’s wines, purchasing them with growing enthusiasm. The winery, which has already won two gold medals in Asia, views the Asian market as one rich with opportunities to expand exports and further promote “Made in Italy.”

South Korea, a nation characterized by a strong sports culture and a deep passion for golf, has also invited Faravelli to showcase his wines at several prestigious golf clubs across the country. Through the “Golf and Wine 1895” brand—born from the convergence of sports, golf, and tourism—Faravelli brings Italian excellence to the world, helping to promote both the products and the regions from which they originate.

“Many of my Korean friends and clients have invited me to present Cantine Vitea’s wines at South Korea’s most prestigious golf clubs,” commented Faravelli, who is considering the possibility of an Asian tour.
