Jeeno Thitikul won the Lotte Championship in Hawaii after shooting a final round of 68. The Thai player finished ahead of Ina Yoon, making the difference with two birdies on the last two holes.

Thitikul had started the day with a three-stroke lead over the South Korean, but the margin quickly narrowed. Yoon, in fact, made four birdies on the first five holes, closing the gap on the leader. The world No. 2 responded with two birdies on the 7th and 8th holes, regaining sole possession of the lead.

The race was back on at the 16th hole, when Thitikul hit her ball into the water and finished with a double bogey. Yoon thus caught up with the Thai player once again, before making a mistake of her own on the 17th, which ended with a bogey. On the same hole, Thitikul made a birdie with a putt from about six meters, then gained another stroke on the 18th.

With a total of -21, the 23-year-old claimed her fourth title of the season and her 11th victory on the LPGA Tour. Yoon finished in second place at -18, while Miyu Yamashita rounded out the podium at -17.
