2026-2027 Premier League: Brentford vs. Nottingham Forest—Probable Lineups

Chelsea vs. Manchester United will be the highlight of Saturday’s Premier League opener. The two giants of English soccer will face off at 1:30 p.m., kicking off a particularly packed schedule. At 4:00 p.m., Manchester City will look to capitalize on home-field advantage against Brighton, while Bournemouth and Leeds, Brentford and Nottingham Forest, Coventry and Sunderland, and Hull and Ipswich will battle for valuable points. At 6:30 p.m., it’s time for the all-London clash between Tottenham and Crystal Palace. The curtain will fall at 9:00 p.m. with Aston Villa vs. Fulham, the final match of a day that promises plenty of excitement.
Keith Andrews’ Brentford heads into the match off the back of its fourth draw of the season, earned last Sunday on the road against Hull City (1-1). After an excellent start to the season, the London side has slowed its pace, first suffering an away loss to Liverpool (2-1) and then drawing with Hull City. On the other hand, Nottingham Forest heads into this match following last week’s 1-1 home draw against Ipswich Town. That result, however, has not dented coach Oliver Glasner’s confidence, as he appeared optimistic ahead of the upcoming matches.
