Laura Pirovano 12th on Friday in Cortina
Laura Pirovano, to the official Fisi channels, commented on her 12th place finish in Cortina, in the downhill that saw her national teammate Sofia Goggia triumph.
“I am very happy. When you are competing and you try to do a little bit more, it is normal to run into some smudges, but at the moment I am happy like this,” said the 1997-born skier.
“Honestly coming back from injury I didn’t want to create too many expectations, so already being able to come back skiing well and feeling good is a great result. It’s obvious that confidence is lacking from time to time, but I’m still satisfied with when I bring it out and the results that come as a result,” she added.
