Virtus Bologna, Andrea Diana lists the dangers of Reyer Venezia
Andrea Diana presents Reyer-Virtus from a Bolognese perspective
Filed the midweek commitments in the Euroleague, Virtus Bologna faces the away game against Reyer Venezia, in a championship challenge scheduled for Sunday that, according also to what Andrea Diana stated during the presentation, hides not a few pitfalls.
“Venezia is a complete team in every department,” said Sergio Scariolo’s assistant, “it is a team built to compete both in Europe and in the Italian championship. We met them in the Final Eight of the Italian Cup, but they definitely showed signs of growth, especially in the last EuroCup game against Brescia, playing a solid game for all 40′.”
“Offensively,” Diana added, “we will have to be good at sharing the ball, against a team that is very strong in protecting the area, they are in fact the first in the league in terms of stoppages. On our side we are a little bit sluggish, someone did not train today, tomorrow we will understand who we can count on, we are at the fifth game in ten days: this should not be an excuse, on the contrary it has always been a challenge to be more solid and more focused to compete and to do our best in an important match for our ranking.”
