Having wrapped up the Monte Carlo Masters 1000, Jannik Sinner is ready to return to the court in Barcelona.
The South Tyrolean was drawn in the lower part of the draw, the one presided over by Greek finalist Stefanos Tsitsipas in 2018 and 2021, and will enter the match directly in the second round either against Argentina’s Diego Schwartzman, No. 48 ATP, or China’s Yibing Wu, No. 56 ATP.
A quarterfinal against Britain’s Cameron Norrie, No. 13 in the rankings and seventh seed, then looms for the 21-year-old from Sesto Pusteria.
