Milan, Olivier Giroud peremptory on Euroderby

Olivier Giroud is already thinking about the Champions double derby

He had arrived at AC Milan in the summer of 2021 on a zero-parameter basis, has since dispelled the “curse of the 9,” won a Scudetto, and will play for a place in the final of the Champions League double Euroderby against Inter: Olivier Giroud’s Rossoneri parabola continues and the French striker himself, interviewed by ‘L’Equipe,’ admits that he already has his mind on the two challenges against the Nerazzurri.

“It will be a superderby, Milan will burn with passion,” said the Chambéry native. “I am sure they will be two incredible matches, which will still give Italian soccer a team in the final. The city will see something extraordinary, we as well since we will experience it as protagonists.”

“I did not expect to experience all these emotions when I chose AC Milan,” Giroud added. “I knew it would be a great adventure but I could never have dreamed of the results we are getting. It is an exciting challenge.”
