NBA Play-offs: Boston also wins Game 5 and now believes in it
In the history of the playoffs, no team has rebounded from a 0-3
Boston doesn’t let up. The Celtics also succeed in Game 5 (110-97), taking their second consecutive win in the series with Miami. The Heat thus fail their second consecutive match point and now have even more pressure on them.
Drawn by the points of White (24), Smart (23), Tatum (21) and Brown (21), the Celtics do not give the Heat a single hope of victory. The opening 23-7 lead in favor of the hosts steered the game squarely. On the other side, Butler stops at 14 points in 34′ of play. Now the series shifts back to Miami with the Heat who, in front of their home crowd, will try not to waste the third match point.
