Parma, Fabio Pecchia’s message: “We must be proud.”

Despite the elimination, the message to the team is clear.

Parma is stopped in the semifinals of the playoffs for promotion to Serie A, but Fabio Pecchia after the 0-0 draw at the Tardini against Cagliari had words of high praise for the Ducal team.

“These guys must be proud of themselves,” the Parma coach explained to ‘Sky Sport’. “The team started in one way and has gradually improved. We have never distorted ourselves despite the difficulties we have always encountered until today. But I also want to congratulate Cagliari, who beat us in the duel.”

Pecchia then saluted the run-up to promotion with a tribute to the fans: “Congratulations to our public, really fantastic. We had the whole city of Parma around us, but unfortunately we did not manage to fulfill our dream. However, the company will continue with its investments. The bitterness is there, but it will not affect the enthusiasm and projects that aim to return to Serie A.”
