Eleventh Champions League for Recco, third straight
Pro Recco won its 11th Champions League, its third consecutive, beating hosts Novi Beograd 14-11 in Serbia.
It was a match that saw Sandro Sukno’s team always ahead in the score, always in front despite Echenique’s expulsion at the beginning of the second half. For the Croatian coach it was the second hat trick, four goals from Zalanki and Di Fulvio and three from Ivovic.
