U20 World Cup, Italy beats South Korea and goes to final
Historic final for Italy, still in goal Casadei
First, historic final for Italy at the U20 World Cup. The Azzurrini manage to reach the last act of the competition by overcoming South Korea 2-1. National U20 team’s goal was scored by the usual Casadei (seventh goal in the tournament). South Korea equalized, from the penalty spot, with captain Lee. Then it was Pafundi, Udinese’s jewel, who gave the Azzurrini the victory with a masterful free kick a few minutes from the end.
A great victory that confirms the enormous quality of the Azzurri U20 group. On Sunday, at 11 p.m. Italian time and always in La Plata, the final against Uruguay, which got the better of Israel (1-0 the final) in the other semifinal.
