Salernitana sends clear message to Paulo Sousa
After celebrating salvation, Salernitana must reckon with the Neapolitan sirens that are tempting coach Paulo Sousa, suddenly in pole position for the post-Spalletti job in Naples.
The CEO of the Granata club, Maurizio Milan, commented on the situation to ‘Corriere dello Sport,’ addressing a message to the Portuguese coach. “We have made due guarantees to Sousa regarding the competitiveness of the squad for next season, with the primary objective being salvation,” he said. “He has taken his time, our homework has been done.
“For now Sousa is our coach, if different indications arrive we will not be unprepared.”
