Pirlo’s Samp loses at home to Como
An intense match at Como’s Sinigaglia
The match between Como and Sampdoria saw the Larians win, another disappointment for the Ligurians. The home fans were able to celebrate thanks to the decisive goal scored in 54' by Nicholas Ioannou, on an assist by Alessio Iovine. Sampdoria, coached by Andrea Pirlo, è took the field with the 4-3-3, while Moreno Longo opted for a 3-4-1-2.
The match è was marked by a series of yellow cards. Sampdoria’s Fabio Borini è was the first to receive a caution on 2'followed by Como’s Lucas Da Cunha on 36'. In the second half, both Nicola Murru and Petar Stojanovic of Sampdoria and Patrick Cutrone of Como received yellow cards. Toward the end of the match, Antonio Barreca of Sampdoria and Estanis Pedrola were also cautioned.
Several changes were made throughout the match. At 66', Como replaced Nicholas Ioannou with Marco Sala and Alessio Iovine with Tommaso Cassandro. Sampdoria responded with the substitutions of Stefano Girelli for Manuel De Luca and Gerard Yepes for Ronaldo Vieira. In the final, Como replaced Patrick Cutrone with Moutir Chajia, while Sampdoria sent on Antonino La Gumina in place of Sebastiano Esposito. Despite their efforts, Sampdoria did not è manage to equalize, for Pirlo, after Parma’s draw, the situation is back on the line.
