NBA preseason: Phoenix Suns’ big 3 immediately decisive

On NBA preseason night, Phoenix Suns fans enjoyed the stellar trio of Devin Booker, Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal, who arrived in Arizona from Washington this off-season, in action.

Phoenix è came out on top with a clean 117-106 win over the Portland Trail Blazers with the three stars putting up a combined 49 points in just under 20 minutes played. For the Oregon franchise, however, good showings for Walker (13 points and 9 rebounds) and Sharpe (19 points). A night to forget for Scoot Henderson, who does not go beyond 8 points with 3/11 from the field.

The first regular season contest will see the Phoenix Suns take on the Golden State Warriors on opening night, scheduled for Oct. 25. In addition, barring injury, for Kevin Durant it will be the first meeting as an opponent against the franchise with which he won two NBA titles.
