Marc Marquez has put into account the possible risk of a flop with Ducati: "The change I made has the motivation to return to enjoy myself. If it doesnì t, I donì t think about retirement, but Iì ll understand many things and will have to accept that my role in this world è changed".
Number 93 feels però still far from retirement: "It doesn’t cross my mind to retire. Signing with Ducati has taken a weight off my shoulders. When you have to make an important decision, until you take that step, you have doubts. And I continue to ask myself questions even after I make it. These questions will be answered in time, such as when I will try the Ducati" for the first time, are the words to Autosport.
"When I was two years out, in 2022 that bike had gone in a direction totally opposite to my riding style. They knew in Honda that I could leave".
On the Gresini adventure: " I will limit myself to being a MotoGP rider and riding as fast as I can. Clearly I will tryò to bring Ducati towards my style with the tools I have and I think the team will help meà a lot".
