Jannik Sinner, who was defeated in two sets by Novak Djokovic in the final of the ATP Finals, è the first to speak during the awards ceremony: "Thank you very much everyone. Nole, with you I can speak in Italian. Congratulations for this week, you started and ended the season by winning. You are an inspiration, not only for the fans but also for us players".
"The last two/three months I played so much, I improved throughout the season, and we were lucky enough to play against the best in the world,” continued the South Tyrolean tennis player. “Even today we saw that you canò improve so much, but we can also look at the many positive things in this 2023. I am a different player than I was at the beginning of the year".
"In 2019 I played the Next Gen, I never thought I would get to this point again after such a short time. È it was a crazy week, you welcomed me like a little kid, giving me strength on and off the court. There'è still Davis, let's hope to do well there as well," concluded Sinner, already focused on the Azzurri's commitment in the Davis Cup quarterfinals against Holland, scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 23.
