Great feat of the women's Italy in Spain. The Azzurri coached by Andrea Soncin managed to impose 3-2 on the reigning world champions the Red Furies in the penultimate day of the group stage of the Nations League.

A minute after the resumption came the equalizing goal for Italy with Giacinti, who took advantage of Caruso&#39s assist and beat the Spanish extreme defender with a precise right-footed shot from the edge of the box. The tie gives even more confidence to Soncin’s girls, who manage within five minutes to score two more goals, respectively with Cambiaghi at 12' of the second half and Linari at 19'. At 31', Spain managed to shorten the distance with Gonzalez, however, the Azzurri managed to resist the forcing in the last minutes and bring home an important victory.
