Alessio Dionisi exonerated: Sassuolo’s decision on heir

Alessio Dionisi, class of 1980, had arrived at Sassuolo at the beginning of the 2021-2022 season. It was on that occasion that he made his Serie A debut as a coach after experiences in B in Venezia and Empoli proper. In his first season as a neroverde coach he led the team to an 11th place in the standings at the end of the season, followed by a 13th place finish last season.
