Pedro Acosta immediately showed what he is worth in free practice for the Qatar Grand Prix, which opens the 2024 MotoGp World Championship. The KTM Tech 3 team centaur finished third in Friday’s two sessions, also shining in the wet. The rookie lived up to expectations that see him as the most promising prospect in the premier class.
"Really a good day. I had good feelings from the start of FP1. I think it was important to finish the two sessions in the top3 and, especially, both in the’dry and in the wet. A very important aspect", the Spanish centaur told Sky.
Pedro Acosta recorded important steps forward in his confidence with the bike: "I think I have improved my riding, so my bike has taken a step forward with the package planned for the championship. We are closer to the best. Here of course I am favored by the fact that we have already done pre-season testing, while at other tracks I will doò moreù struggle".
Also promoted the session in the wet: "It's been an important training, a bit like it happened last winter".
