Italian shooters accurate in New Delhi
The Azzurri do honor in New Delhi
Satisfaction for the Italian colors after the first day of competition at the WSPS (World Shooting Para-Sport) World Cup being held in New Delhi. At the end of the 75 throws on Monday, the ranking of PT1, i.e., wheelchair shooters, sees Mohammed Alhashmi in the lead with 61 plates, followed by the Italian Davide Fedrigucci of Urbino with only one plate behind and a score of 60. Fifth was Sandro Lecca (Defense Paralympic Group) of Settimo San Pietro (CA) with 51.
In the PT2 ranking, i.e., the one reserved for shooters with disabilities in the lower limbs, leading è Slovak Filip Marinov with an excellent 71/75, Our Fabrizio Cormons of San Felice Circeo (LT) and Massimo Lanza of Rometta (ME) went to rest, respectively, with 65 and provisional third and 63 and fifth place.
Finally, in the PT3 compartment, i.e., that of shooters with disabilities in the upper limbs,to lead è our Gabriele Nanni (Fiamme Oro) of Sala Bolognese (BO) with 64/75, while Giancarlo Cosio of Milan è currently fifth with 36.
On Tuesday, the competition will continue with another 50 qualification plates and the best six shooters in each functional classification will enter the finals scheduled to begin at 9:30 a.m. Italian.
