F1 Ferrari: Jean Alesi drastic on Mattia Binotto
Former Ferrari driver Jean Alesi preaches patience and slams critics: ‘Binotto is building a team’
Former Ferrari driver Jean Alesi dismisses all criticism of Mattia Binotto after the Maranello team’s latest bad races: “We saw what they did in the past in Ferrari when Jean Todt and Michael Schumacher won everything, they created a united team, something unique. Binotto is trying to do the same,” the words to the Guardian.
“Binotto is trying to build a team with new people, fresh forces, and that takes time. For the moment they have managed to build a fantastic and fast car, they are missing some small things to be perfect. They need time.”
Alesi praised Leclerc: “You saw the overtake on Hamilton at Silverston, that’s Formula 1. He has the ability to become a world champion soon.”
