After two defeats in this year's first game and in the final of the Frecciarossa Final Eight 2024, EA7 Emporio Armani Milano prevailed against Generazione Vincente Napoli Basket conquering the return match of the regular season with the concluding score of 86-84.

On the Milan bench, Messina has won 123 games out of 167 coached, momentarily hoisting himself to third place in club history behind Cesare Rubini (501) and Dan Peterson (259).
