Milan, Olivier Giroud’s perfect heir is sought
The 37-year-old French striker is reportedly negotiating with Los Angeles FC
AC Milan soccer: Giroud's adventure with the Milan shirt seems to be at an end. The French striker's performance is still excellent but, at 37, the Diavolo needs "fresh forces" to shore up the attack next season. The Frenchman seems determined to get involved in MLS, so much so that there is talk of negotiations with the Los Angeles FC franchise. In addition, there is talk of an 18-month contract.
So many names on the notebook of the Rossoneri society to find a worthy heir. Clearly, the hottest name remains that of Zirkzee. The Bologna striker has many admirers, both in Italy and abroad. Milan is seriously thinking about it. The problem? The 2001-born Dutchman costs a lot. There is talk of an investment close to 60 million euros (assuming some English club does not raise the bar further).
There is no shortage of alternatives. Sesko, forward of Leipzig, è a definitely interesting profile. However, even in this case, the quotation è important: about 50 million euros. There would also be the Santiago Jimenez option. Feyenoord shot high: 60 million euros but, should it become a hot track, è it is likely that we could agree on less demanding figures.
