Pecco Bagnaia’s statements after pre-qualifying for the Le Mans GP

.

After Jerez, comes another convincing free practice session for Francesco Bagnaia, who in pre-qualifying for the Le Mans GP è surrendered only to the track record signed by Jorge Martin. The reigning world champion, however, was è confirmed competitive both on the race pace and on the dry lap, as admitted by the person concerned to the microphones of "Sky Sport MotoGp" at the end of FP2.

"It has been two weekends that on Fridayì we start well. C’è needed Friday in Jerez to find a square, becauseé if you start far away itè not easy. From this morning I was feeling good and this afternoon è it went the same way. I was able to be consistent, unfortunately I made a small mistake in the third lap of the time attack, but it takes a start like that è. The reason è technical, which consequently leads me to push better" began the Ducati centaur.

"In certain things I am slower, like in’adapting to certain situations: I needed a bike that stayed very similar always, and in Jerez we managed to find something that gave me a lot. Today è was another demonstration of that: when I was fourth on the first lap I thought it was not possible, and instead lap after lap I was able to be faster and faster: è beautiful, because è you can go fast right away without delay. È a change we brought to the bike and it allows me to be explosive right away. I can’t say that, otherwise they all copy me" added the reigning world champion.

"In my opinion, the races will both be done with the soft behind, although the medium this morning è behaved very well. Those who can be explosive in the Sprint will be; also in the race, also becauseé on the pace you can&e not do much with the tires, it will beé very similar" commented Pecco Bagnaia.
