Virtus Bologna: two absences and two recoveries for coach Luca Banchi

Virtus Bologna is preparing to face Game 3 of the quarterfinals of the playoffs scudetto against Bertram Derthona Tortona. Game two is set for Thursday, May 16 at 8:45 p.m. at the Palaenergica Paolo Ferraris in Casale Monferrato. The HCL team, strong with a double advantage in the series (2-0), in case of success, will access the semifinals.

Coach Luca Banchi must reckon forò with the absences of Devontae Cacok and Iffe Lundberg, due to the left knee contusion injury suffered during Game 2 of the quarterfinal playoffs with Tortona. The player will follow a physical therapy program and will be reevaluated over the next week.

On the other hand, Ognjen Dobric and Toko Shengelia, both of whom were unavailable in the first two challenges of the series with the Piedmontese team, are back among the convocable players. It remains to be seen whether the coach of the Black Vs will use them during Game 3.
