Inter, Dario Baccin unveils market dream
The words of Dario Baccin
Inter's deputy sporting director, Dario Baccin, gave a long interview to the microphones of Sky Sport in which he touched on several topics, above all the market: "We have a structure of scouts coordinated by Piero (Ausilio, ed.) and myself. We follow all the world championships very much both on video and live. We have a very dense network of acquaintances that often allow us to have reports in advance of others. Then we don t always manage to close deals, but we try to be as present as possible all over the world".
"South America è always full of interesting players,” he added, “in this period Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay and Ecuador have started to provide good players again, but these countries have also structured themselves with new agencies of prosecutors, è much more complicated to go thereà and buy with competitive prices. The English and Germans are moving very early thanks in part to the concessions on non-EU players and are able to get very young players that are unattainable for us at the moment. But we continue to scout that area becauseé we are convinced that something good" can be done.
So he unveiled the Nerazzurri’s market dream: "The operation I am most proud of? I hope it can be the next one. A dream? I think the one of going for the new Zanetti who can wear our jersey from the age of 16 for the whole career".
Baccin then confirmed the interest in Bento: "We are happy with the goalkeepers on our staff, thinking about the future he è one of those we are evaluating. He is being evaluated a lot with the convocation to the Brazilian national team, but even if è it is premature to speak in depth about him, he is one of the two-three young prospects we are following carefully".
Finally, on the issue of renewals Lautaro, Barella and Inzaghi: "We are working, with everyone there’è the mutual willè to move forward. Obviously there are numbers to fix but when you start from such a solid relationship and common will, there will be no problems. For each of them there’è a set time but I think we will move forward with everyone very happy"
