Tennis Canada has announced the first seeded players for the 2024 National Bank Open. In attendance is Jannik Sinner, who will try to make an encore after his triumph last year: "Dominating the rankings with his skills and intelligence is Jannik Sinner, who has è worked his way to the top of the ATP. His fantastic rise è began a year ago, at the 2023 National Bank Open presented by Rogers in Toronto, where he lifted his first trophy as a Masters 1000 winner" reads the tournament website.
"Since then he has played great: two wins over Novak Djokovic, a first Grand Slam in Melbourne, the Miami Masters, Rotterdam and Halle, and, most importantly, a stratospheric performance in the Davis Cup. In addition to Jannik Sinner, the other top seeds in men’s singles are Carlos Alcaraz, Alexander Zverev, Daniil Medvedev, Andrey Rublev, Hubert Hurkacz, Casper Ruud, Alex de Minaur and Grigor Dimitrov.
