"But I am not totally satisfied, becauseé I believed in a medal".

"I had an outstanding reaction time and then I tried to push all the way, but the others went really fast,” the Tokyo 2020 medalist told RAI microphones. “I am sorry because I really believed in a medal, I have staked the whole year on this event so I am a little bitter, also in view of the fact that I have totally turned my life and that of my family upside down by moving to the United States to train".

"My career does not end here, I wanted to give the Italian fans another gold, but it will go on with the same commitment and in four years there will be other Olympics. 9"85 in any case è a very good chrono".
