Paris 2024 Olympics, Nadia Battocletti sees the glass half full and already looks ahead

It's only lasted a few hours for Nadia Battocletti's illusion of winning the bronze medal in the 5,000 meters at the Paris 2024 Olympics. The appeal won by Kenya to revoke Faith Kipyegon’s disqualification restored the original ranking with the Italian middle distance runner who è climbed to fourth position. However, for the Italian athlete there remains the extraordinary consolation of having improved on her seventh place from Tokyo 2021 and set a new Italian record in 14'31"64. On her Instagram account, in addition, the double European champion commented heartily on the appeal and the final result obtained.

"I have to thank all of you fans for the closeness because Iè never expected so much warmth. Thanks are also due to this townà which made me realize how limits must be overcome day after day.

I am proud of the path I have taken so far, a fourth place that gives me a lot of confidence and will be an important building block for my growth. Paris 2024 this is not è a farewell, but a goodbye becauseè see you again on Friday for the 10000 meters! Au Revoir Paris" this is the message of Nadia Battocletti on her Instagram profile.
