On the eve of the high jump qualification competition of the Paris 2024 Olympics, Gianmarco Tamberi posted a long message on his Instagram profile. "Challenge accepted! Tomorrow will most likely be the most difficult competition of my entire life" admitted the Italian, who arrived in Paris a day late due to high fever and a probable kidney stone.

Gimbo, however, has no intention of giving up: "Now it is no longer a question of how I am, but what I will be able to do! I will fightò with all of myself, certain that the work done until 3 days ago cannotò have disappeared into thin air. I have always said that heart and head make the difference, now simply è time has come to prove it!".

Finally, the European champion made an appeal to his fans: "10.05 am, I know I should not ask you, but right now I really need to hear your support. I need to know how many of you will take the platform tomorrow morning by my side. You are my strength, and now, I need that strength more than ever!".
