Fundamental to the victory was Lagumdzija. He was credited with the comeback in the final third set thanks to a sensational series on serve, but the Turkish opposite player did so much more (18 points with 76% and 2 aces). Also in double figures was Yant (13 points and lots of effort).

On the opposite side Hanzic signed 14 points, the opposite Cox 11. Honors to Fulvio Bertini’s team, always in the game and dangerous both in service and offense, but also skilled in the second line. Lube’s final accelerations made the difference.
