Victories for Brescia, Palermo, Sampdoria and Torino in the matches valid for the 32nd finals of the Coppa Italia. Brescia knocked out Verona 3-1 with goals from Borrelli and Olzer’s brace, while Palermo surprised Parma at the Tardini with a goal from Insigne (Man missed a penalty kick).
In the evening out another Serie A team: Como lost on penalties to Andrea Pirlo’s Sampdoria, after regulation time ended 1-1 with goals by Ioannou and Cutrone. For Fabregas, there was also anxiety for Varane, who left after 20 minutes with a physical problem.
Torino instead got rid of Cosenza 2-0 with Camporese's own goal and Zapata’s goal.
