Flavio Tranquillo and the new balance of the Nba
For Quiet, the Nba has a new balance
Sky Sports commentator Flavio Tranquillo, interviewed by Sportal.it, explained how, in recent years, more and more uniformity is being achieved in the Nba.
“Now it is still very difficult to make a specific prediction, they are still moving, as they say, all sides. The clear impression is that there will be some swaps that could very much alter certain balances. What you see, in my opinion quite clearly, is that the general idea of competitive balance, the ‘competitive balance’ as they call it, is increasingly a reality. We’re seeing it in so many ways, not the least of which is the fact that Golden State made five finals in a row, then was the worst team in the league, and now they’re back to winning, in a different version than the two they won before,” Tranquillo recounted.
“What you see is that there is more parity, and the more parity there is, in my opinion the happier they are. When there is parity to move is really very little, if we go and look at the Finals, to move was three/four possessions in Game 4 in Boston. Had they gone a different way, maybe we would be here talking about Boston,” the commentator concluded.
