Ismael Bennacer puts Milan in trouble. The Algerian midfielder, who remained in the Rossoneri despite insistent summer soccer sirens, has picked up a serious injury that will keep him away from the playing fields for a long time. There is talk of an absence that could last up to three months, which will force the Rossoneri to intervene on their technical plans in view also of the Champions League.

Bennacer’s physical problem è occurred during the Serie A break, particularly while he was training with his Algeria team. As reported 'Sky Sport', the midfielder was engaged in a session on a synthetic pitch, where he suffered a third-degree calf injury.

The concern of the Rossoneri staff now concerns the team’s various commitments, to be divided between Serie A and the Champions League. In the league, young Silvano Vos, currently committed to Milan Futuro, could move to the first team. In the cups, on the other hand, the chosen one to fill the box left temporarily unmanned by Bennacer should be Kevin Zeroli.

Throughout the summer, Bennacer had moreover been one of the players put on the market by Milan. For him there was the prospect of a transfer to the rich Saudi Pro League, then not materialized, and the hypothesis of a move to Galatasaray considering that the soccer market in Turkey ends only on September 13. All hypotheses faded permanently after his injury.
